Question 1

What is Ex Horto Generativo?

Accepted Answer

Ex Horto Generativo is a generative herbarium: every visit grows a unique botanical specimen, drawn live by an agent. No two plates alike.

Question 2

How do I grow a specimen?

Accepted Answer

Click anywhere, press the spacebar, or hit the New specimen button. A new plate is drawn each time.

Question 3

Can I change the specimen?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pick a season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) and adjust the Mutation slider, then grow a new specimen.

Question 4

Are any two specimens alike?

Accepted Answer

No. Every plate is generated fresh, so no two are alike.

Question 5

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ex Horto Generativo is a free Ignition Foundry experiment, in your browser.
